The fabrication technologies and equipments of S.C. HIDROMECANICA S.A.
awere developed in the concept of High Quality, high productivity and a high level of the production flexibility.

Fabrication of great amounts of products and groups of pieces is possible due to the modern technologies applied, due to the high technical level equipments, due to the qualified staff, due to the organisation and management of the production based on modern methods.
In order to assure the quality control of the fabrication at world standards, the laboratories and the inspection points are provided with the necessary facilities
(the control in CNC coordinates, spectrometer etc).
 
• Casting capabilities

 
Steel and iron cast foundry
 
The casting technologies used are: gravitational casting, in classic and special mouldings made by hand or on HWS mechanized line . 

IRON CAST
Production capacities: 6000 t/year– liquid;
                                    3900 t/an – founded pieces;

Manufacturing profile:
- Middle and large series ;

Material types:
Gray cast iron from Fc150 to Fc300
Cast iron with nodular graphite from Fgn 400-15 to Fgn 700-2
Alloy cast iron with Cr, Cu, V


Dimensional and weight limits for iron cast parts:
- for hand moulding , maximum dimensions : 1500 X 1000 X 600 mm , casted parts weight from 0,1 kg – 1000 kg;
- for mechanized moulding , maximum dimensions : 400 X 300 X170 mm , casted parts weight from 0,1 kg – 40 kg.

STEEL
Production capacities: 580 t/year – liquid;
                                    280 t/year – founded pieces;

Manufacturing profile:
- Small and middle series ;

Material types:
Cast steel from OT 400-1 to OT550-3
Low, medium and high steel alloy
Mangan and refractory steel


For steel casted parts, weight limits 0,1 kg – 250 kg.
 
 
 
THE NON-FERROUS FOUNDRY
 
Production capacities:
360 t / year – liquid
280 t / year – founded pieces. 

Manufacturing profile: 
- Small and middle series.

Material types: 
Aluminium alloys (hypereutectic)

For casted parts, weight limits 0,1 kg – 100 kg.

The casting technologies used are :
- classic mould casting
- manual casting in forms
- precision casting at low pressure in plaster forms
- high precision casting in vacuum and ceramic crusts.

 
 
• Forging capacities
 
Forge
 
Production capacities:
4500 t forged pieces /year

Manufacturing profile: 
- Middle series;

Material types:
- non alloyed steel;
- alloyed steel;
- high alloyed steel;
- non - ferrous (aluminium based alloys)

Dimensional and weight limits for forged parts:
- Free forging between 0,5 kg - 100 kg
- Die forging between 0,5 kg - 50 kg

The forging technologies are: 
- free forging;
- die forging.
